Strategically nestled near the bustling Laugavegur shopping boulevard, our hotel offers easy access to Reykjavik’s vibrant downtown, just a leisurely 15 to 20 minutes’ stroll away.
Immerse yourself in the best of both worlds – proximity to the city center coupled with tranquil repose for a restful night’s sleep.
Spanning three floors and serviced by an elevator, our 3-star hotel boasts 55 well-appointed rooms. Each room is thoughtfully outfitted with modern conveniences including hairdryers, daily refreshed towels, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.
Indulge in the comfort of your private bathroom equipped with a rejuvenating shower. Guests will find a convenient coffee/tea machine in the reception area.

The hotel operates as a self-check-in facility, hence there is no receptionist. The customer service support is available 24/7 via phone and email.

How to Check-in:
Your room number is. Please make your way to your room and use code # to enter.
Please familiarize yourself with your applicable reservation terms and conditions.
Standard Reservations: If cancelled up to 4 days before arrival, NO fee will be charged.
The hotel reserves the right to charge for the whole stay up to 4 days before arrival.
If cancelled, modified or in case of no-show, the entire price of the reservation will be charged.
Pre-Payment: The hotel reserves the right to ”pre-authorize” all credit cards provided to confirm validity of credit card amount 1.000 ISK.
All payments to the hotel are made in the local currency Icelandic Kronur (ISK). Payments made to the hotel will be charged in the local currency equivalent based on the daily exchange rate used by the hotel.
Currency conversions by banks or credit card companies in processing payments are not within the control of the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.
22 Hill Hotel is a NON smoking hotel, as are ALL public buildings in Iceland.
Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited in the premises, and violators will be fined 25.000 ISK.
Strictly NO pets allowed.
Iceland uses 220v standard European outlets/plugs.
Most establishments in Iceland accept Icelandic Krónur, Euros, US/Canadian Dollars and British Pounds and all major credit cards are accepted.
If you do any shopping in Iceland, any goods purchased over the value of 12.000 ISK which you intend to export, you are entitled to claim a tax free form and you will receive a refund on departure at Keflavík Airport.
There is paid parking directly outside the hotel and on the parallel street. However, there is free parking to the left of the entrance and across the street. Please note that free parking in the area is limited.

You will find a door hanger describing the steps to request stayover service. To have your trash taken
out and towels changed, hang the door hanger on the outside of your room before 11:00 am, blue side
out, and we will service your room between 11 – 15.
We provide all linens and towels; please send us a message if you wish to get more or new towels.
